FAVORITE SNACKS FROM TRADER JOE'S

Trader Joe's is one of the value-for-your-money stores i have been to after moving to Seattle. Its got organic, healthy stuff for a reasonable price tag(refer pic below). We have been frequenting TJ's for over a year now, and we love it(you can see the TJ's products in action in my recipes here, and here). So, if you are new to the country, or never been to TJ's before(highly unlikely right?), you should pay a visit, like right now. Today i am sharing the snack items i bought from my recent TJ's run, right in time for friday the 13th scary movie marathon, chuck that popcorn and munch on these instead. OK, lets begin this calorie heavy post.

Chile Spiced Mango - $1.99
This is the latest find from TJ's, and my absolute favorite. Each slice explodes with gamut of flavors in your mouth. Flavor of the mango mixed with the spiciness from the chili, and sweetness from the sugar (yup, is sweetened), yum! Plus its like a stretchy gummy bear. And its just $1.99. Win-win, right? Tee is already halfway through.
Thai Lime & Chile Cashews - $6.99
This is another one with mix of flavors, sourness(lime) mixed with spiciness. Also its cashews, so yum. The mango slices and this reminds me of snacks we have in India, and its probably one of the reasons why i like them even more. It's expensive, but cashews always are.
Inner Peas - $1.49
First of all, how pun-ny is that name? I love peas, in any form and this one's baked and crunchy. It might be too salty for some, cause i sure think it has way more salt than normal, but probably thats the flavor they were going for? Try it, and let me know if you like it.
Green Tea Mints - $1.99
I love green tea, and i squealed with excitement when i saw this in the impulse buy section near the billing, and i impulse-d. This is the best mint i have ever tasted. Its not too minty, that is, you don't feel like you just used mouth wash, plus it's full of green tea flavor which is unique, yet so good. And on top of that, each mint is shaped like a leaf, how cute is that? I take two at a time.
Hope you are intrigued by these items, and will soon give them a try. Which ones do you like from TJ's, let me know in the comments below, i will try them next.

Thanks for reading. Happy weekend!
