Although i don't use accessories on my hair on a daily basis(except for my everyday hair tie), i am big fan of hair accessories. One type of hair accessories that are trending this season are headbands and twist scarves. They are fun way to spruce up your look. This summer its your best friend to keep your hair pulled up and out of your face, but still making you look super chic. There are just endless ways to wear them. You can make a bow if you are feeling fancy, do knots in the center, do one twist in the center and tie it at the back, just wrap your entire head with them, there are so many ways, let your creative mind flow with this one.

Polka dots are forever, and its one of my favorite patterns in headbands. It doesn't always have to look like you are going for vintage-y vibe, wear something neutral, add a fun touch to your outfit with a polka dot twist scarf in the same/different color and get ready to handle all the compliments.

Striped headbands are as much universally flattering as the striped tees and dresses. Wear a colorful outfit and add a striped scarf to neutralize the look.

Take a different route on the denim-on-denim trend and wear your chambray shirt/dress with one of these denim headbands. I was surprised to see so many chambray headbands in stores, and its quite a unique choice to try.

There are so many other designs and patterns available. Floral/palm print ones would be perfect for your tropical summer getaway. Bandana scarf is definitely a must have.
